Remote Full Time Office and Administrative Support Occupations

To support the Access Center, the full-time Authorization Representative will identify insurance plans requiring pre-authorization for procedures, document authorization details in billing systems, and verify benefits while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review accounts to determine pre-certification requirements based on established guidelines Secure reimbursement and minimize write-offs through proactive follow-up on insurance denials and appeals Communicate benefit information to requesting departments and ensure all required authorizations are obtained Required qualifications High school graduate or equivalent (GED); medical terminology preferred Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, call center, or clerical position Experience using Microsoft Office applications is required Preferred experience includes registration and one year of insurance pre-authorization Must demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications
