Duties

  • The registered nurse will assess patients related to chief complaints and medical needs.
  • Administer nursing care to ill and injured patients both pediatric and adults.
  • Administer medications and treatments per physicians orders.
  • Provide information on health maintenance, disease prevention and follow-up through discharge instructions and planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital-based or free-standing emergency center treating both pediatric and adult patients.
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Current Texas RN License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
  • TNCC and CEN preferred.
