Audit Specialist

To ensure the accuracy and compliance of revenue cycle processes, the full-time RCM Audit Specialist will conduct audits, monitor key performance indicators, and identify process improvements while collaborating with various RCM leaders in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Conduct quality reviews and audit revenue cycle claims against established standard operating procedures (SOPs) Develop and analyze quality improvement initiatives to support RCM operational functions Create reports and deliver assessment results to leadership while identifying process deficiencies and trends Required qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of experience in an auditing/QA role or equivalent RCM-related experience 2+ years of experience with athenaHealth and/or athenaOne preferred Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, create graphs, and pivot tables Experience documenting processes and standard operating procedures
