Qualifications
- Michigan CPA License
- A minimum of three or more years in public accounting with relevant financial statement audit experience, to perform and/or oversee audit and other assurance engagement work
- Experience and competency in the execution of external audit engagements in accordance with professional assurance standards
- Employee benefit plan audit experience a plus
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Pfx Engagement, and Quickbooks a plus
- Work as a member of an engagement team serving nonpublic clients in various industries
- Plan and perform financial statement audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Identify and resolve client issues
- Communicate with clients
- Maintain active communication with engagement team and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables
- Participate in firm activities such as recruiting and in-house training
