The Opportunity:
Legacy Search Advisors is working with a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Assurance practice.
This opportunity is well suited for a public accounting professional who enjoys leading engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring teams but may be interested in a new platform for continued career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial statement audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact.
- Review audit workpapers and financial statements.
- Supervise, coach, and develop audit staff and seniors.
- Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagement execution and client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Significant external audit experience within public accounting.
- Previous experience supervising audit engagements and staff.
- Strong technical accounting, audit, and client relationship skills.
- CPA preferred;
