Audit Manager OpportunityOne of our public accounting clients located in Owings Mills, MD is looking to add an Audit Manager to their growing team.ResponsibilitiesManage a variety of complex assurance projects, including audits, reviews, and agreed-upon proceduresApply expertise in GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworks to evaluate audit risks and guide strategyPlan engagements by managing budgets, staffing, and scope of work, revising programs as necessarySupervise, train, and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure growth and performanceMonitor project completion to ensure team productivity, profitability, and adherence to audit objectivesReview workpapers, financial statements, and audit programs for accuracy, completeness, and complianceAssess findings, classify control deficiencies, and prepare management and governance letters for clientsPrepare proposals for new assurance work, setting realistic and profitable fee structuresCommunicate effectively with clients and team members to address project statuses and audit issuesFoster and develop meaningful client relationships to ensure expectations are clearly defined and metRequirementsBachelor degree in accounting or related field, required.CPA license required.Prior experience auditing Not for Profit clients required.5-10 years of experience in assurance related work.Expertise in audit standards, procedures, and financial reporting frameworksAbility to manage complex engagements and align with firm goalsProficiency in audit software and related toolsStrong leadership and communication skills to mentor team members and collaborate with clients
