Audiology TechnicianThe Audiology Technician provides clinical and operational support to audiology services across multiple practice locations. This role supports hearing aid and device workflows, walk-in clinic services, and patient flow to improve provider efficiency and access to care. The Audiology Technician ensures clinic readiness, coordinates device logistics, and assists with administrative and specialty program workflows.

This position contributes to operational effectiveness by supporting continuity of care, patient access, and efficient clinic operations according to the Jefferson Health Values and Habits.Essential Functions:Clinical & Patient SupportAssist audiology providers with patient flow and clinical support activitiesSupport hearing aid walk-in clinic services, including troubleshooting and triageProvide support for unscheduled patient needs and escalate concerns appropriatelySupport patient communication for appointments and follow-up careAssist with intake, check-in/out, and staffing coverage as neededHearing Aid & Cochlear Implant Device Lifecycle ManagementCoordinate ordering, receiving, tracking, and preparation of devicesManage repairs and returns including patient communicationMaintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Record and Hearing Aid/Cochlear Implant DatabaseSupport follow-up processes and continuity of careOperational Workflow & Clinic EfficiencySupport scheduling workflows and chart preparationPerform chart review to improve scheduling accuracyMaintain clinic flow and support patient accessCollaborate across teams to improve throughputEquipment & Clinic ReadinessPerform routine equipment checks and coordinate calibrationMaintain supplies and clinic readinessMonitor and order inventory as neededProgram & Administrative SupportSupport specialty programs (Progressive Tinnitus Management/PTM) and departmental initiatives (1394 Patients to be Scheduled Work Queue)Assist with workflow and operational trackingParticipate in training and continuing educationOther ResponsibilitiesTravel between locations as required - Provide cross-site coverage - Assist with events and outreach - Perform other duties as assignedEducation – Required:High School diploma/GED and Associates Degree.Education & Experience – Preferred:Bachelor degree preferred1 year Previous healthcare or patient service experience preferred1 year Experience in audiology or hearing healthcare preferred1 year Experience supporting hearing aid devices and workflows preferredWork ShiftWorkday Day (United States of America)Worker Sub TypeRegularEmployee EntityJefferson University PhysiciansPrimary Location Address10800 Knights Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America
