Compensation and Schedule for theAudiologist
Audiologist– Full-time,onsite,$38-$40per hour, MondaytoFriday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Great opportunities for growth!
Required Qualifications of theAudiologist
- 1+ years of recentaudiologyexperiencerequired
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD.) degree from an accredited university programrequired
- Current and valid Audiologystatelicensurerequired
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- High school diploma or GEDrequired
- Must successfully pass acriminalbackground check and drug screen
Responsibilities of theAudiologist
- Demonstrate excellent clinical skills in diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation
- Operate and interpret results from a variety of audiological equipment
- Possess strong counseling and interpersonal communication skills
- Explain complex information clearly and empathetically to patients and families
- Utilizeelectronichealth record (EHR) systems
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Providepatient-centered care
- Operateaudiological equipment and manipulatesmall objectsusing fine motor dexterity
- Observe patient responses and interpret test resultsusing visualacuity
- Performaccurateaudiometric testingusing hearing sensitivity
- Interact with patients who may have communication difficulties or be emotionally distressed
