Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audiologist at our Oklahoma City, OK clinic. The Audiologist will perform patient hearing evaluations, diagnose hearing impairments, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions, including hearing devices. The role involves fitting and programming hearing aids, as well as counseling patients about the usage and benefits of hearing technologies. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and staying current with advancements in audiological care and technology.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic audiological evaluations and hearing tests
- Experience with hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming
- Ability to provide patient counseling and education on hearing protection and hearing device use
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration with team members
- Knowledge of leading hearing aid technology from providers such as Phonak, Oticon, and Resound
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D or Ph.D.) from an accredited program
- Current audiology licensure in the state of Oklahoma or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in audiology
