JOB SUMMARY
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric hearing, balance, and communication disorders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Au.D. degree
- NY Audiology License
- NY hearing aid dispensing license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Previous work in a multi-provider environment a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible in your daily schedule
- Ability to clearly review test results and treatment options with patients and their families
- Desire to educate patients about hearing and hearing loss
- Ability to prioritize in a busy ever-changing environment
- Strong compassion, care, and respect for all patients
- Strong team orientation, ability to collaborate in a team setting
- Independently interpret results with little supervision
