Location and Mission

WDH Head and Neck specialty is located at 361 High Street, Somersworth, New Hampshire 03878. The mission is to provide state‑of‑the‑art medical and surgical care for disorders of the ears, nose, and throat for patients of all ages.

Position Summary

We are seeking a 32‑hour Audiologist to support our practice in an onsite outpatient setting with an option for a four‑day workweek. The role focuses on conducting audiograms and providing comprehensive audiology services for pediatric to geriatric populations, with built‑in administrative time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audiograms and provide comprehensive audiology services.
  • Perform cochlear implant evaluations and programming.
  • Evaluate, counsel, and treat tinnitus.
  • Monitor patients' progress and observe hearing or balance status.
  • Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices such as hearing aids.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and ongoing care.
  • Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
  • Select and fit hearing aids; administer and interpret hearing tests; assess instrument efficacy; take ear impressions; prepare, design, and modify ear molds.

Qualifications

Education: Doctorate Audiology required.

Licenses and Credentials:

  • Audiologist (State License) - required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - preferred.

Experience: 1–2 years of audiology or hearing testing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong patient/customer service skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with DPOAE, ABR, ENG/VNG, hearing aid evaluation, dispensing and follow‑up, and use of electronic health records for documentation.
