Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves reviewing a Veteran’s medical records, which are uploaded into a secure computer portal, before conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, generating the medical documentation needed for the VA to determine the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

Note: This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-Time and Full-Time options available.
• Location: In-person role in Bosque Farms, NM (87068).
• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

Requirements

• Au.D. and graduation from an ASHA Accredited School.
• Current license as an Audiologist.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
