Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role located in Aiken, SC. The Audiologist will perform diagnostic hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, tympanometry, adult cochlear implant evaulations and activations, and other appropriate procedures, while documenting results in an accurate and timely manner. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients and families on hearing health, recommending treatment options, and fitting and adjusting hearing aids and assistive listening devices. The role involves managing follow-up appointments, performing hearing aid checks and repairs, and maintaining clear communication with patients, caregivers, and referring providers. The Audiologist will also participate in patient education, maintain clinical equipment, adhere to regulatory and ethical standards, and contribute to practice growth through high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Clinical audiology skills, including comprehensive hearing evaluations, interpretation of test results, and development of appropriate treatment plans.
• Competence in hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, verification, and ongoing patient support for hearing devices and related technology.
• Strong patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and support patients and families in decision-making.
• Documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate clinical records, manage schedules, and follow established clinical protocols and regulations.
• Commitment to professional ethics, continuing education, and evidence-based practice in audiology and hearing healthcare.
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree; current or eligible South Carolina audiology license.
• Experience in a clinical or private practice setting is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small practice environment and maintain a respectful, inclusive, and patient-focused workplace.
