Job Summary

The full-time Audiologist provides high-level audiologic care within a team-based, fast-paced ENT clinic. They assess, diagnose, and treat hearing, balance, and communication disorders across all age groups, utilizing diagnostic equipment and performing vestibular evaluations. The role involves fitting and programming hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive devices, with a preference for experience with leading manufacturers. The Audiologist completes standard audiometric tests, adheres to documentation standards, and ensures compliance with regulations and professional standards. They participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance patient care. Additional duties include counseling patients, maintaining accurate records, and supporting departmental goals.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Ph.D. or Au.D.) required.
  • Valid Audiologist License in the state of Texas required.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.
  • Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
