Audio Visual Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Specialist to support audiovisual systems, conferencing technology, and meeting room operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of meetings, presentations, videoconferences, and special events while providing high-level technical support to internal teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support audiovisual equipment for meetings, presentations, videoconferences, training sessions, and special events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving conference room systems, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and collaboration platforms.
• Provide on-site and remote support for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other enterprise conferencing technologies.
• Perform routine maintenance, system testing, software updates, equipment installations, and AV system upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT teams, event coordinators, and external vendors to ensure meeting readiness and deliver exceptional technical support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting audiovisual technology, enterprise conferencing systems, or corporate meeting environments.
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment, control systems, digital signal processing, AV-over-IP, and audio/video connectivity.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and enterprise AV solutions; familiarity with Crestron, Cisco, Dante, or Biamp is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to support senior-level professionals in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience and relevant industry certifications will be considered.
