Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney at Berman Voss. The candidate will be responsible for handling legal issues involving all areas of workers' compensation law, as well as independently handling and managing a case load. The day-to-day tasks will include attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, as well as reviewing discovery and medical records.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of workers' compensation experience
- Ability to conduct draft legal documents and represent clients in court
- Experience with depositions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
