Responsibilities include:
* Manage the litigation cycle of the firm's more complex personal injury matters
* Develop litigation strategy and manage case development through trial
* Draft and argue complex motions, lead mediations, and handle all case advocacy
* Take and defend depositions, including witnesses and medical experts
* Manage discovery, legal research, and ongoing medical treatment monitoring
* Collaborate with Litigation support staff and litigation team associates.
Requirements for this role:
* Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
* Must have personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side - trial experience is a plus!
* Experience in motions practice, depositions, mediation, and case development through trial readiness
* Strong legal writing abilities, exceptional negotiation skills, and a high degree of courtroom readiness
* Well-versed in reviewing medical records, handling complex medical bills, and understanding treatment timelines as they relate to case value. xhqgsiq
