Attorney Support Pro Coordinator – DC

The Attorney Support PROS Coordinator – DC is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the quality of work and workflow of the PROS team in the DC office, while assigning, delegating, and coordinating work to ensure department objectives are met in a timely manner. This role will be located in our Washington, D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that the team tracks all requests through the firm's real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow)
  • Working with the Attorney Support Manager on staffing and coordinating vacation scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for training and lunch absences for the team; communicating individual team members' absences to attorneys and paralegals to ensure awareness of backup support
  • Assessing team members' skills and delegating tasks in a way that encourages the development of necessary skills for all team members
  • Working with the local Attorney Support Manager to provide performance feedback to team members on a regular basis; communicating performance issues to management appropriately
  • Participating in and providing feedback during the interview process for new team members on the local team, utilizing the firm model
  • Ensuring all databases and spreadsheets reflect current attorney support team assignments
  • Presenting PROS overview presentations to new PROS attorneys and paralegals and sending relevant email correspondence
  • Managing relevant logistics for attorney arrivals, departures, transfers, and leaves of absence, including coordinating with internal departments and handling related communications to ensure seamless onboarding, transition, and departure experiences
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective mentoring
  • Display knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and MS Office
  • Possess knowledge of Excel, Emburse/Chrome River, Outlook, Webex Phone, Intapp, iManage, Foundation, Event Management System, and specific technology as assigned

And have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment, preferably

Pay Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
