Role Description
The Associate Attorney will be a key contributor to Gray Pannell's growing public finance and economic development practice, joining one of Georgia's most respected boutique law firms. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished partners who are recognized leaders in municipal finance, economic development, and business law-advising cities, counties, authorities, and private companies on complex financing transactions that fund critical infrastructure and drive community growth across the state.
The Associate will play an active role in all stages of public finance and bond transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, disclosure review, and coordination among issuers, underwriters, and other financing team members. The position requires strong analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where precision and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of legal experience in public finance, economic development, municipal law, real estate, commercial transactions, or related transactional practice areas, with a strong interest in building a long-term career in these fields. They will demonstrate excellent legal judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will be collaborative, client-focused, and eager to contribute to projects that directly impact Georgia's communities.
Qualifications and Attributes:

Education and Certification Requirements: An undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law are required. The successful candidate must hold an active license to practice in the State of Georgia or be eligible to sit for the Georgia Bar or pursue admission by reciprocity.
