Litigation Associate Attorney | Established St. Louis Law Firm | Hybrid

Location: St. Louis, MO

I’m recruiting an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join a well-established St. Louis law firm with a strong reputation for providing sophisticated legal representation in insurance defense and commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case management.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other litigation-related matters.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• 4–7 years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling business, commercial, or complex civil litigation matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing cases, drafting motions, and handling discovery.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client-management skills.
• A demonstrated interest in building a long-term career with an established law firm.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $170,000 (Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)
