Job Description A prestigious Midtown NYC plaintiff's firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of medical malpractice cases, from initial client intake to trial. * Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents. * Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials. * Collaborate with expert witnesses and other legal professionals to build strong cases. * Provide clients with clear and timely legal advice throughout their case. * Ensure all legal work is completed with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. * Attend in-person court appearances when required; however, some remote work is available for flexibility.
Qualifications * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling medical malpractice cases. * Proven track record in managing medical malpractice litigation, including trials. * Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to work with medical records. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple cases simultaneously. * Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor with a client-focused approach. * Admitted to practice law in New York State.
License/Certification · Bar (Required) Job Type Full-time with the a bility to commute to Court and office New York, NY 10017. Hybrid availability. Pay $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Experience Medical Malpractice and/or Personal Injury Attorney : 3 years (Required)
