California-licensed Civil Litigation Defense Attorney
An established civil litigation law firm is seeking a California-licensed Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join its team.
The attorney will work closely with a firm partner and, depending on experience, may manage an independent caseload. Responsibilities will include:
- Handling civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Court appearances
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Motion practice
- Mediations
- Client communication
- Trial preparation
- Collaborating with partners and other attorneys
Trial experience or an interest in developing trial skills is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license required
- 1+ year of civil litigation experience preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage litigation tasks independently and as part of a team
- Motivated to develop professionally in a collaborative environment
