Our client is a modern, reinvented boutique law firm comprised of elite, partner-level attorneys drawn from Am Law 100 firms and top national practices. Our attorneys typically hold degrees from top-tier universities and have 15-25+ years of experience advising sophisticated clients. The firm operates with a reduced-overhead, national platform that allows attorneys to deliver exceptional work product while retaining a substantially greater share of the revenue they generate.
We are seeking an experienced attorney with a substantial portable book of business to join our practice. This opportunity is designed for a self-sufficient, entrepreneurial attorney who does not rely on firm-generated work and who values independence, flexibility, and economics superior to traditional Big Law or legacy boutiques.
Ideal candidate profile:
- 15+ years of attorney experience
- Prior experience at an Am Law 100 firm or well-regarded IP boutique
- Demonstrated portable book of business (required)
- Practices may include patent prosecution, counseling, opinions, portfolio strategy, and related IP matters
- Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal administrative oversight
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in maximizing personal revenue
- Collaborative temperament with willingness to refer work to and leverage other senior attorneys at the firm
Compensation structure:
- Highly competitive, percentage-based compensation significantly exceeding traditional law firm models
