Location/Schedule: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $225K

Practice: New Jersey commercial and complex civil litigation. Contract, business tort, and high-exposure liability disputes for corporate clients.

Our client is the rare full-service firm with offices and lawyers in all 50 states, more than 1000 attorneys, founded in the 1970's. New Jersey sits on that platform. The local docket is commercial litigation, construction, products, and professional liability.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Litigate commercial and complex civil disputes in New Jersey state and federal court.
• Defend construction, products, and professional liability claims.
• Take depositions and draft dispositive motions.
• Work indemnity and coverage issues that sit on those files.

Requirements:

• JD and active New Jersey bar
• 3–8 years post-bar civil, commercial, or insurance litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Law clerks and summer associates will not be considered
• Depositions taken
