Workers' Compensation AssociateAn established firm based in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid arrangement. This Workers' Compensation Associate will have experience with workers' compensation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.Offer: Salary range: $100,000-$155,000+ contingent on experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Matching 401(k) Paid time off Mentorship opportunities Collaborative and welcoming work environment Work-life balanceQualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active admission to practice in New Jersey 3-5 years of workers' compensation experience with the ability to manage an existing caseload Familiarity with New Jersey State Rules of Court, Federal Rules of Court, and Rules of Evidence preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, ProLaw, and e-document management systems preferred Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other legal documents Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters Manage a caseload with appropriate supervision while maintaining client relationships Participate in motion practice, conferences, and trial preparation as needed Maintain billable hours in alignment with firm expectations
