Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid) — New York and New Jersey files

Base Salary: $200K

Practice: Construction defect, trucking, premises, and products defense, plus coverage advice on the same files. The work includes risk-transfer arguments through additional-insured and indemnity positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend construction defect, trucking, premises, and products claims in New York and New Jersey courts.
• Draft coverage positions and additional-insured / indemnity arguments on those same files.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including dispositive motions.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active New York bar (New Jersey a plus).
• 3–7 years post-bar insurance defense, construction, or coverage — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner.
• Depositions taken on liability files.
