Insurance Coverage Attorney | Manhattan, NY (Hybrid) – $250K

Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $250K, plus a staggered bonus that starts at 1,850 hours and reaches $30K at 2,200

Practice: Insurance coverage for carriers. Opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, declaratory judgment actions, and professional-liability coverage. Not a general-liability volume seat.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Draft coverage opinions and reservation-of-rights letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions.
• Advise carriers on professional-liability, first-party, and high-exposure claims.
• Take depositions and brief coverage motions.

Requirements:

• JD and active New York bar
• 4–8 years post-bar insurance coverage or complex insurance litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Coverage opinions or a declaratory judgment action
