Managing Attorney
Direct Counsel is looking for a Managing Attorney to conduct motor vehicle, premises and Medical Malpractice litigation and trials. Candidates for the position must possess strong management skills, research and writing skills, substantial personal injury litigation experience including law and motion, arbitration, mediation, expert deposition, and trial.
Applicants for Attorney position must have a minimum of 3 year's experience in civil litigation to handle all discovery, trial preparation, mediation, and trial. Candidates must be able to manage a caseload of 60-80 litigation files throughout all stages of litigation and trial preparation. Trial experience is a MUST. You will oversee an associate and an experienced paralegal.
The qualified candidate must be highly organized, possess attention to detail, write well and advocate aggressively, and have a sincere interest in litigation. Spanish language fluency is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Plaintiff Personal Injury position:
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Law and motion
- Taking and defending depositions
- Performing legal research
- Performing all other litigation case management duties

Required Experience of the Plaintiff Personal Injury position:
Must have a minimum of 2 plus years' of solid experience in litigation in state courts
