Contract Litigation AssociateA boutique New York-based law firm is seeking contract litigation associates with 3+ years of experience to support its growing caseload in administrative law and guardianship matters. This is a fully remote opportunity with strong potential to convert to a permanent role.Key Role InformationRemote: Work from anywhere within approved jurisdictionsHours: 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday, EST business hoursPay: $55–$70/hour, depending on experience and qualificationsDuration: 6-month contract-to-hire opportunityKey RequirementsActive bar admission (in good standing) in New York3+ years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to administrative law, estates, or surrogacy proceedings.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Research: Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategyDrafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, letters, and other legal documentsClient Communication: Respond to client inquiries and provide updates with professionalism and clarityLitigation Prep: Assist with case preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing for hearingsLetter Writing: Draft correspondence to courts, clients, and opposing counselVolume Work: Manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detailDiscovery: Limited; this role is not discovery heavy
