Attorney Position

We are seeking a motivated Attorney to join a growing legal team in a full-time, on-site position in Brea, CA. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload and provide legal advice, representation, and strategic support across a variety of matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload involving areas such as medical malpractice, elder abuse, labor and employment, and general legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities.
• Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, agreements, correspondence, and other filings.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice tailored to client needs and risk profiles.
• Negotiate disputes and advocate for clients' interests when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop effective strategies and practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship-building initiatives.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to client service.
• Prior law firm or in-house legal experience is preferred but not required.
• New admittees and experienced attorneys are welcome to apply.
