Location/Schedule: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $175K
Practice: New Jersey premises, transportation, construction, and general liability defense for businesses and insurers. Not a workers’ compensation seat.
Our client is an NLJ 500 litigation firm with 200+ attorneys. The Iselin office defends premises, motor carrier, construction, and general liability claims. There is no billable-hour expectation. Production is judged on revenue and collectibles. Partnership runs on loyalty and ability, then profit sharing.

What You’ll Actually Do:
- Defend premises, transportation, construction, and general liability claims in New Jersey courts.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft motions and prepare cases for mediation and trial.
- Report to carriers and corporate insureds on exposure.
Requirements:
- JD and active New Jersey bar
- 3–7 years post-bar insurance defense or civil litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
- Depositions taken in the last 24 months
