To Apply for this Job Click HereJob ID#: 39244Join a Growing Litigation Team Defending the Transportation IndustryWe are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic defense practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, work directly with experienced trial attorneys, and take ownership of a diverse and challenging caseload.Our practice focuses on defending individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers involved in transportation-related claims and catastrophic loss matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in all phases of litigation while developing the skills necessary to become a trusted advocate and trial lawyer.Practice AreasThe Associate Attorney will represent clients in a wide range of transportation and personal injury defense matters, including:Automobile accidentsCommercial trucking and tractor-trailer collisionsBus accidentsCrane and construction equipment incidentsDump truck and heavy vehicle accidentsCatastrophic injury claimsWrongful death and fatality casesMotor vehicle accident (MVA) litigationInsurance defense mattersKey ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters from inception through resolution.Conduct factual investigations and analyze accident-related evidence.Assess liability, damages, and risk exposure.Develop and implement defense strategies tailored to each case.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.Communicate regularly with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.Participate in case strategy meetings and settlement negotiations.Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and litigation requirements.QualificationsRequiredJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.2–4 years of litigation experience.Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills.Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.PreferredInsurance defense experience.Transportation or trucking litigation experience.Deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience.Experience handling catastrophic injury or wrongful death matters.Familiarity with complex liability investigations and accident reconstruction issues.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is:A proactive litigator who enjoys taking ownership of cases.Comfortable interacting directly with clients and insurance professionals.Eager to gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience.Strategic, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced litigation environment.Why Join Us?Meaningful, hands-on litigation experience from day one.Direct exposure to complex transportation and insurance defense matters.Opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys.Strong mentorship and professional development opportunities.A collaborative team environment that encourages growth and advancement.Clear path for increased responsibility and long-term career progression.If you are a driven litigation attorney looking to build your career in transportation and insurance defense, we encourage you to apply and become part of a team that handles some of the industry's most challenging and high-profile cases.
