Position Overview
A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Attorney to join its Dover, Delaware office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation and transactional experience who has an interest in land use, zoning, and administrative law . The successful candidate will primarily support clients in Kent and Sussex Counties while handling a variety of hearings, applications, and related litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in land use, zoning, and administrative law matters.
• Prepare and present applications and hearings before municipal and administrative boards.
• Handle litigation arising from land use, zoning, and administrative matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Appear in court and administrative proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Delaware State Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation and transactional law experience.
• Strong interest or experience in land use, zoning, and administrative law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and client relationship abilities.
