Associate Attorney – Commercial Litigation

Rogin Nassau LLC is seeking an experienced attorney to join our litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in general commercial litigation and be comfortable handling matters with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.

Experience representing clients in landlord/tenant disputes and commercial foreclosure matters is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution


• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents


• Manage discovery and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances


• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals


• Assist with case strategy and work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys


• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in general commercial litigation


• Admission to, and good standing with, the Connecticut Bar


• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills


• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines


• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
