Attorney – Business & Commercial Litigation

A Houston-based boutique law firm is seeking an Attorney to support its business and commercial litigation practice. The attorney will work closely with experienced lawyers on sophisticated matters involving contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, business torts, fraud, trade secrets, healthcare, employment, and corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and memoranda.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Analyze contracts, financial records, corporate documents, and discovery.
• Support clients in complex business and commercial disputes.
• Assist with transactional and general counsel matters.

Representative Firm Experience

The firm has represented clients in high-value business disputes, healthcare litigation, corporate-control matters, trade-secret and technology disputes, OSHA defense, and complex contract and fraud cases, including matters involving multi-million-dollar judgments, federal litigation, appellate proceedings, and successful trial outcomes .

Qualifications

• J.D. and active Texas Bar license.
• 1–3 years of legal experience.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Interest in developing substantial litigation and business-law experience.
