A growing boutique law firm in the northwest suburbs is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its team. This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated business disputes, wants meaningful responsibility, and values working in a close-knit environment.
The opportunity:
- Up to $150K+ base salary, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
- Performance-based bonuses and opportunities for salary growth
- Manage substantive litigation matters from discovery through trial preparation
- Draft and argue motions, prepare briefs, conduct depositions, and handle fact and expert discovery
- Work on corporate and commercial disputes, contracts, and business-related matters
- Join a collaborative boutique practice where initiative, accountability, and strong advocacy are valued
What they're looking for:
- 3–5+ years of commercial or corporate litigation experience
- Active Illinois law license
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of their work
- Insurance defense experience is a plus
The details:
- Location: Arlington Heights, IL
- Schedule: Fully in-office
- Billables: Approximately 150–160 hours per month
