This time, they’re hiring one person. The seat is in commercial litigation.

• It’s a mid market firm and it’s growing fast.
• Now they’re building out commercial litigation. They want attorneys who’ll help decide what that department becomes.

The cases

• Contract and commercial disputes for businesses across the firm’s region
• Shareholder, partnership and LLC disputes
• Business torts, fraud and restrictive covenant matters
• State and federal court, including the North Carolina Business Court where the case calls for it

Two levels, one range

• Closer to $160,000: mid level associates who’ve handled discovery, written dispositive motions and taken depositions.
• Up to $230,000: senior associates ready to run cases with light supervision and help develop the attorneys around them.
• North Carolina licensed, or able to become so.

The practical bits

• 1,800 to 1,900 billable hours.
• Three days a week in the office. The rest is yours to work wherever suits you.
