Attorney (Alternative Dispute Resolution)

Job Title

The role involves assisting in the review and evaluation of whistleblower reprisal complaints in collaboration with supervisors and WRI management to determine suitability for alternative dispute resolution. The position requires serving as a neutral professional under the confidentiality provisions of the Administrative Dispute Resolution Acts of 1990 and 1998 (ADRA) and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 1998 (ADR Act) to resolve disputed matters. Additionally, it includes advising principal parties in the preparation and conduct of ADR processes, initiating contact with disputing parties, obtaining relevant information, and guiding them through the ADR process. The role also involves advising on or preparing legally supportable resolution agreements to fully resolve open complaints and participating in the design and implementation of training to ensure effective use of ADR processes by agency attorneys, investigative staff, and management.
