Duties
Conducts or assists OIG investigators in conducting investigations involving potential criminal, civil, and administrative violations involving DFC projects, operations, employees, and contractors.
Conducts sophisticated research, evaluates applicable laws and policy, and proposes viable solutions on complex or sensitive matters involving OIG investigations.
Provides technical legal advice and guidance on extremely complex legal problems involving OIG investigations, which may be unprecedented or require reconsideration of established procedures and policies.
Reviews OIG investigative reports and plans.
Reviews OIG investigative policies and procedures and recommends improvements and updates, taking into account all relevant legal authorities, including emerging guidelines and case law.
