Sub-Acute, Long-Term Care is a sector of healthcare with growing potential and work-life balance flexibility (no weekends or on call).
We are seeking a part-time (16-24 hours per week) Attending Physician/Medical Director for our Casa Real Center in Albuquerque, NM, with potential float to nearby centers.
This dual role involves clinical responsibilities. Candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with LTC experience.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Center Medical Director to ensure clinical services meet our mission, overseeing implementation of clinical programs and standards.
- Report primarily to the Regional Medical Director, with accountability to the Center's Administrator and Medical Director.
- Take full responsibility for patients admitted to your service.
- Complete credentialing and visit patients timely per policies.
- Ensure complete history and physical exam documentation within 72 hours of admission.
- Deliver high-quality care and collaborate with the Medical Director to improve facility care.
- Serve as a role model and promote our mission within the community.
- Coordinate care with hospitals and other institutions.
- Adhere to compliance, legal, and regulatory standards including HIPAA and the False Claims Act.
- Participate in orientation, training, and report concerns promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. required.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
- Geriatrics specialization is desirable.

Posted Salary Range: USD $200,000 - $300,000 per year.
