OverviewAttending Physician, Otolaryngology Department wanted in Brooklyn, NY: Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care in the field of otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat disorders). Reqs: MD or ECFMG certification, Board certification in Otolaryngology (or license eligible) from the American Board of Otolaryngology, License (or eligibility for licensure) to practice medicine in NY. Examine, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the head and neck, including disorders of the ear, nose, sinuses, throat, larynx, and related structures. Perform diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans based on clinical judgment, patient history, and up-to-date scientific guidelines. Conduct surgical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to sinus surgeries, tonsillectomies, laryngoscopies, and treatment of head and neck cancers. Maintain continuity of care through inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department consultations. Utilize electronic health records and other information systems to support clinical decision-making and documentation.
Educate and counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care. Supervise and mentor medical residents, physician assistants, and nursing staff.
