ATI Clinical Director

Salary: $100,000.00 Annually
Job Summary
CASES is seeking a clinician with strong leadership and direct service experience to support staff in delivering participant‑centered services within both community‑based and court‑based settings. As a member of the CSS leadership team, the Clinical Director will collaborate closely with program leadership, compliance and court stakeholders to support participant outcomes and overall program effectiveness.
The role requires regular presence across Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan program and court locations to support staff, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure consistency in program operations and service delivery.
CASES is a New York City non‑profit organization at the forefront of Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) programs and comprehensive services for criminal justice‑involved populations. The ATI Clinical Director will lead two long‑term ATI programs: 1) Reframing Opportunity, Alternatives & Resilience (ROAR) for justice‑involved young adults (16‑27); 2) Nathaniel Community Success (NCS) for individuals (16+) with behavioral health needs.
Shift Hours
This position is full‑time Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise ROAR and NCS Team Leaders.
- Collaborate with internal court‑based teams and external court stakeholders to support seamless program operations.
- Serve as a member of the CSS leadership team and contribute to strategic planning, program development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to staff working toward licensure and clinical hour requirements.
- Identify training needs and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with site managers in facilitating clinical and high‑risk meetings to support positive outcomes for participants who present with complex needs.
- Prepare and submit quarterly program reports while maintaining collaborative relationships with the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance and program alignment.
- Represent CASES ATI at external meetings with stakeholders and community partners.
- Ensure regular presence across Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan program and court locations to support staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Hold an active NYS registration as an LCSW or Clinical Psychologist.
- Have a valid SIFI (Seminar in Field Instruction) certification.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in working with individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, trauma, and criminal legal system involvement.
- Be available to work during set agency training times and travel to training sites as necessary.
- Show ability to work effectively with diverse teams and navigate ambiguous environments.
- Commit to social justice and possess knowledge of the NYC criminal legal system.
- Have the capacity to commute to different boroughs and work sites.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual Spanish.
- Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal legal system.
