Athletic Event Administrator
This position will assist with pre-game setup, in-game operations, and post-game breakdown for assigned home contests and will serve as the game administrator as needed.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform set up, maintenance and cleanup activities for game day.
- Assist with game day administration for athletic contests as assigned. Plan, organize and coordinate several components of events such as spectator transportation, hospitality tailgates and stadium clean up. Assist with event staff.
- Serve as game day administrator for varsity sports. Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the mitigation of problems and situations that may arise during events including media access, concession operations, parking and security. Supervise security, parking and event personnel.
- Work with equipment, material, supplies and services for use in facilities (e.g., padding, goals, netting, replay eq. and game day.
- In conjunction with S. Associate AD, manage transportation logistics and paperwork for all varsity teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Attributes
- High School diploma preferred
- Athletic background or general understanding of athletics preferred.
- Experience working in a college athletic department is a plus.
- Must be highly organized and able to effectively manage responsibilities and priorities.
- Valid driver's license required.
Unusual Working Conditions
This is a 10 month position working 19 hours per week.
