Onsite Full Time Finance

  • Provide timely, high-quality client service and coordinate audits of required financial statements, disclosures and deliverables
  • Assess risk and design and communicate audit procedures to engagement teams
  • Understand and utilize RSM’s Audit Methodology
  • Manage multiple engagement teams and prepare end-of-engagement staff evaluations
  • Monitor and review work product and report on Senior Associate and Supervisor performance
  • Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors and facilitate field work, productivity and adherence to work-plan schedules
  • Maintain year-round client contact and assess the effect of significant business developments on audits
  • Develop others through training, career-development advising and Firm initiatives
  • Read industry publications and share relevant information with clients
  • Anticipate and address client concerns and escape issues
  • Discuss relevant service opportunities and valuable introductions within the Firm
  • Develop external Center of Influence relationships to support business growth
  • Manage project profitability
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Managers and Partners
  • Identify performance-improvement opportunities
  • Maintain professional development through ongoing education
  • Keep current with developments affecting GAAP and Firm standards and policies
  • Travel approximately 25% of the year, depending on clients

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
  • CPA or CA Certification
  • 5+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring associates
  • Understanding of audit services with knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and FASB or IFRS regulations
  • Proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
  • Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the year, depending on clients
  • Preferred: successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements
  • Preferred: fluent in French, German, Japanese or Mandarin, including speaking, writing and reading, with deep understanding of relevant culture and business practices
  • Preferred: proven track record of managing relationships with large non-US companies with significant operations in North America
  • RSM does not intend to hire entry level candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future (i.e. F-1 visa holders)
