Sign Production SpecialistFull Time Mon-Fri - 9am-6pm Paid Time off & Holidays. MUST KNOW ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR SOME EXPERIENCE WITH SIGN PRODUCTION IS PREFERRED SOME EXPERIENCE WITH SIGN INSTALLLATION IS PREFERREDResponsibilitiesPerforms quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction of signagesFollows a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate or mediumPrepares substrates for application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl applicationWeeds excess vinyl from computer cut imagesPerforms quality assurance measures pre- and post-productionPerforms finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed piecesPerforms installations at customer locations or other off-site locations as necessaryReports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partnerHelps unload and store raw materials and cleans and maintains storage areasPerforms routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessaryPerforms other duties as needed, such as answering the phone, helping at the front counter, consulting with customers, etc.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredHands on experience with Adobe Illustrator, PhotoshopBasic math skillsPrevious sign or print industry experience a plusAble to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality workAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to lift 50 or more poundsMust have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateAble to use light power equipmentAble to work effectively in a team environmentAble to work without direct supervisionPrompt, reliable, and responsibleCompensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour At FASTSIGNS, every day is unique and presents exciting opportunities, including new ways to use your talent and grow your skills.
