Accounting Consulting Team - Asst. Mgr./Mgr.We are a global, international firm with an advisory group that includes an accounting consulting team. Our team provides consulting services to client companies, focusing on internal control, internal audit support, post-merger integration, and business consulting (due diligence and M&A transactions).As a manager in the accounting consulting team, you will be responsible for:Managing review and compilation engagementsProviding virtual controllership and CFO rolesPerforming financial due diligenceProviding various accounting consultation, including:New accounting standardsExternal audit supportCost accountingProviding internal control consultation and outsourcingTraining and supervising staff and reviewing their workQualifications:5-8 years of audit/review/accounting consulting experience (due diligence and M&A transaction) in public accountingOR8 or more years of accounting department experience in a manufacturing company, especially in the cost accounting fieldOR5-10 years of experience in internal control function (J-Sox - design, implementation and testing etc.)BA/BS degree in accounting/business/finance from an accredited college/universityLicensed CPA, CMA, CIA, CISA, or CFE is preferredEligible to sit for the CPA examStrong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principlesDemonstrated leadership, problem solving, and solid oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skillsStrong technology (especially Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and VBA), research and analytical skillsAbility to read/write/communicate in Japanese (Must) and EnglishAdditional information:Full remote work option available (with one week of travel per month)Remote work eligible states: TX, NY, CA, IN, IL, GA
