Role Description The Orthodontic Assistant is a full-time, on-site position based in Irwin, PA. This role supports orthodontists during patient appointments by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits. The Orthodontic Assistant also helps maintain accurate patient records, supports scheduling and follow-up coordination, and contributes to a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment. Strong foundational skills in Dental Care and Dentistry to support routine orthodontic treatments. Competence in Sterilization and Dental Assisting practices to maintain safety, infection control, and treatment efficiency. Relevant dental assisting certification or licensure in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain), with prior experience in an orthodontic or dental office preferred. Basic computer skills for managing electronic health records, scheduling, and documentation.
