Job Summary
Unique employment opportunity for a full‑time Associate Veterinarian in the beautiful NW city of University Place (West Tacoma), WA. A well‑established, privately owned, full‑service small animal, exotic, reptile, and avian practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to the University Place/Fircrest area since 1960.
We offer 4‑day work weeks with no on‑call or after‑hour duties. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (closed lunch) Monday‑Friday, with evenings and all major holidays off. The team is supportive, encouraging, and non‑micromanaging, dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care.
Our practice features newly remodeled offices, modern equipment—including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, cold laser, in‑house blood machines, ultrasonography—and paperless cloud‑based patient records. We perform advanced soft‑tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong medical and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow. New graduates are encouraged to apply and mentorship is available.
