Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital

Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital, a successful and beautiful small‑animal practice, is looking for a full‑time Veterinarian to join general practice.

Our hospital is an established small animal practice located in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California. We are seeking a hard‑working, team‑player veterinarian. Leadership potential exists for interested individuals. Located in Ventura County, Thousand Oaks is a great recreation and family area near L.A. and Santa Barbara. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the country with highly excellent schools, outdoor activities, and a short drive to the beach.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. No after‑hours emergencies or on‑call requirements. Full‑time is any schedule regularly over 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will willingly help grow the practice by offering excellent preventative care, performing routine surgery and dentistry, recommending appropriate and detailed case work‑ups, providing thorough client communication, and conducting community outreach.

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing in the state where you intend to be hired, prior to your start date.
  • Active or eligible DEA license.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $150,000 per year. The actual salary offered will consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
