The position offers a base salary of $120,000–$145,000 , additional production-based earning potential, and signing, retention, and relocation incentives of up to $75,000 for eligible candidates.

About the Practice

The veterinarian will join an established small animal general practice serving Southgate and the surrounding Southeast Michigan community.

The practice provides comprehensive preventative, diagnostic, medical, dental, and surgical care, alongside the management of appropriate same-day and urgent cases.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive small animal examinations and medical assessments

  • Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols

Candidate Profile

Applicants should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification and hold or be eligible to obtain the appropriate Michigan veterinary licence .
